Is exchanging sex with your partner for regular old household tasks really worth it? Ladies, if you have to use sex to bargain with your man to take out the trash, I think we have a serious problem. However, if it’s done in a playful way and used as solid foreplay, Dr. Kat Van Kirk, resident sexpert for AdamAndEve.com says, “The idea that [you] can get [your] partners to gladly take out the trash or walk the dog is appealing.”
So, make it fun. As long as the bargain is not a means to the end and you feel comfortable then go for it. “If the bargaining is done in a playful way, it can be a fun part of a healthy sexual relationship,” continued Dr. Kat. “It’s when it becomes a means to an end that partners feel taken advantage of.”
