CUPID Checklist for 2015
Cupid, in classic mythology, is the god of desire, erotic love, attraction, and affection. As Valentine’s Day approaches this Saturday, why not become your love’s CUPID for the day?
Last week we brought you a Valentine’s Day Checklist designed to spice up your sex life with gift ideas and new sexy things to try. This week, in anticipation of Valentine’s Day, we have decided to give you another checklist to help enhance your activities this holiday. Let’s all be CUPID for the day:
C is for Candlelight: Nothing solidifies Valentine’s Day and romance more than candlelight. Whether you are dining, giving your lover a sensual massage, or sitting by the fire with a cocktail, make sure you have plenty of deliciously smelling candles. You can even cap off your night with a 3-in-1 massage candle.
U is for Unexpected: Dinner and a movie is so typical. It’s nice, don’t get me wrong, but it’s expected. Treat Valentine’s Day as the one day a year (hopefully there are many more – maybe even one per month) that you plan something unexpected. It can truly be anything that you can do together that you don’t usually do. Seriously, any activity that is unexpected will usually result in new adventure and lots of fun!
P is for Poem: I don’t mean to get mushy here. In fact, you don’t need to be a poet or a wordsmith to score major points in this area. It is said that leaving little notes for your partner can truly increase intimacy and improve a relationship. When acting as Cupid this Valentine’s Day, leave your love a note. We all did it as kids, leaving Valentine’s for our classmates. Now, make it count. Tell your partner how much they mean to you and what you appreciate most about them.
I is for Improvise: Who the heck has time to plan anything? It seems we all live on a schedule, and our time is precious. In the event you don’t have time to make the all important reservation at the high-end restaurant or haven’t thought about every detail of the night, just improvise. Sometimes our most special moments are those we never planned. Plus, it could be a disaster leading to plenty of laughs and a great story to tell your friends.
D is for Dessert: No Valentine’s Day would be complete without dessert. As we all know there are two kinds: one is food and the other in the bedroom. I think we all have the bedroom piece covered. Sweeten up the mood with the greatest aphrodisiac – chocolate. A box of chocolates is essential, but not all chocolates are created equal. We recommend a local family owned candy maker in Bellingham – Pandolphi’s. They have the absolutely best chocolates I’ve ever tasted. Visit them to choose your own assortment of deliciousness or have a box delivered. Plus, they have a full line of sugar-free assortments too.
Cupid for the day, where will you be taking your love this Valentine’s Day? What are you planning on doing to celebrate?
