Customer Service is what Keeps Small Business Alive
We are very thankful to be in business for over 5 years now. The success of a small business is dependent upon good customers. In turn, we have made a promise to our customers to provide them with the best customer service possible. We may be two broads running a boutique, but we hope people enjoy our banter, chit-chat, and of course our expert advice.
Internet v. Brick and Mortar
We are very aware that the internet can offer customer every possible sex toy on the planet. That’s a huge plus for many reasons. The fact that people can explore sexuality in the comfort of their own homes and research new things to try to enhance their sexuality is great. In some instances, we know we can’t compete with the slashing prices of the internet. What we can provide you, however, is customer service. People to talk with and consult. People to ask questions. Most importantly, you can actually see the products! I don’t know how many customers tell us they ordered something online thinking it was one thing, but was nothing as described. Additionally, reading that a sex toy has an insertable length of 6 inches and a circumference of 1.75 inches is different from actually seeing what that means. Also, you must be wary of high-end sex toys being pirated online just like coach pocketbooks. With all high-end sex toys, retailers have to agree (via contract) to sell the toys at a minimum retail price. If the deal is too good to be true, the product’s most likely a fake.

Our goal is always to provide great customer service. What we remind people is we do have some rules associated with our boutique that we can not get away from (it’s the law). We try to make the rules as easy and painless as possible. For example, you need to be at least 18 to visit our boutique. We do card people upon entry and really appreciate you understanding that. Unfortunately, some people give us a hard time, as we explained in one of our past blog posts. We don’t want to start your experience off on a bad note, so please just show us your ID. After that, we pride ourselves on having a very comfortable and arousing atmosphere. Doreen is a master merchandiser, and we have our boutique laid out into three distinct areas: 1) lingerie, lubes, massage, and enhancements, 2) sex toys and pleasure objects, and 3) DVDs and novelties, including bachelorette. You can choose to visit all three areas of the boutique or just explore areas that you are comfortable with. Customers tell us they really enjoy this layout making their experience very positive.
We are very happy to assist our customers in choosing the best product for their needs. This is something you can only get by visiting a brick and mortar store. More specifically, visiting our boutique. We are customer service first, so answering questions, providing display products for customers to see and feel, and making sure our customers are happy with their purchases is key. We can not accept any products returns (public health concern of course), so we want customers to end up with something that’s going to work for them. While we can’t guarantee personal product satisfaction, as all of our bodies and senses are individual, you’ll have a better chance of choosing the right product by visiting our boutique and personally making a selection. Moreover, if you have a warrantied item that goes bust, we can assist you in contacting the manufacturer and resolving the issue. Just give us a call, send us an email, or stop by and visit us. We do the best we can to help. Customer service is the only real thing that can set a retailer apart from the others, especially when you are running a small local family business.
