Prescription for Vibrators?

High blood pressure. High cholesterol. Diabetes. Obviously a doctor would prescribe medication. People deserve the right to medical treatment to stay alive. A doctor writing a prescription for vibrators. WTF? Since when did Americans need permission from a doctor to enjoy intimacy with their partner or pleasure for themselves? In Sandy Springs, GA, in order to buy a sex toy, you need a doctor’s prescription for vibrators.

I thought Massachusetts was bad with its old Puritan values. We have to follow town ordinances pushing adult stores into industrial zones and staying far away from a schools or churches. That said, at least we can exist and sell sexual enhancement products to average Americans who are simply looking to get a little pleasure. No doctor’s prescription for vibrators here!

Not in Sandy Springs. They have a 2009 ordinance that only allows people to purchase sex toys with a doctor’s prescription for vibrators. What doctor is going to prescribe something that isn’t even a part of his/her medical purview? Not to mention, why is it a doctor’s business what you want to do in the privacy of your own home? This is the epitome of government invasion in our private lives. We’re not talking about Al-Qaeda. We are talking about vibrators!!!!

Melissa Davenport, a 44 year old woman who suffers from MS, is suing these idiots. She claims vibrators saved her marriage. They helped her regain nerve and feeling she lost due to her illness. No doctor would give her a prescription for vibrators anyway. I hope to hell she wins. Once again, a full force attack on women and Americans who enjoy sex. Johnny can get a Viagra in Sandy Springs. Wendy can get a Vicodin in Sandy Springs. But, Melissa Davenport, no vibrator for you!

It’s 2014. Sex isn’t going away. What’s your thought on this issue?
